Building an Ada County where families can afford to stay.

Planning for our future, not just reacting to our growth

I believe that with the right plan, we can protect our quality of life and ensure Ada County remains a place where families can invest in their futures and build build a life for generations.

  • The Reality: I grew up in a family where hard work was enough to get by. But today in Ada County, the average family is $16,000 short of what it takes to own a home. That’s a gap we can’t ignore.

My Plan: I’m using my background in economics to cut the red tape that stops us from building "starter homes." We need to increase the supply so our teachers, nurses, and first responders can afford to live in the communities where they work.

  • The Reality: We’re adding 2,000 new neighbors every month. I’ve spent years on construction sites building this county, and I know that if you don't have a solid blueprint, the foundation cracks.

My Plan: I’ll stop asking you to subsidize big developers. My "Plan, Don’t React" strategy ensures new growth pays for the roads, water, and EMS it requires—so your commute doesn't get longer as the county gets bigger.

  • The Reality: In my house, we budget for what we need before we spend on what we want. But while your utility bills and grocery costs are climbing, some county leaders have pushed for 8% pay raises for themselves. To me, that’s not just bad math—it’s a failure of service.

My Plan: I’ll bring "kitchen table" discipline back to the County Commission. My plan prioritizes the essentials that keep us safe—like EMS, clean water, and reliable energy—over self-serving raises. You work hard for your money, and I’ll make sure your county government works just as hard to protect it.
